Rizq is a quick-commerce grocery delivery platform operating in Egypt. We connect customers with supermarkets and stores to enable fast home delivery of groceries and everyday essentials.

Account Information

  • Phone number — required to create an account and verify your identity via one-time password (OTP).
  • Name — optionally provided by you to personalize your account.

Delivery Information

  • Delivery addresses — street address, building, floor, apartment, and any delivery notes you provide so we can deliver your orders.
  • Location — approximate location may be used to determine available delivery areas. We do not continuously track your location in the background.

Order & Transaction Information

  • Items added to cart and purchased.
  • Order history, status, and timestamps.
  • Payment method details (processed securely by our payment gateway — we do not store full card numbers).
  • Wallet balance and transaction history (for users who use the Rizq wallet or receive refunds).

Device & Usage Information

  • Device type, operating system, and app version.
  • Push notification token (to send you order status updates via Firebase Cloud Messaging).
  • App usage data and interactions (e.g. screens viewed, features used) for improving the app experience.
  • Crash reports and error logs (via Sentry) to help us identify and fix bugs.

3. How We Use Your Information

  • To create and manage your account.
  • To verify your identity via OTP during login.
  • To process and fulfill your orders.

  • Firebase (Google) — to deliver push notifications to your device.

  • Cloud storage (Cloudflare R2) — to host product images and app assets.

Delivery Operations

  • Your delivery address and order details are shared with our internal pickers and delivery staff to fulfill your orders.

  • We may disclose your information if required by Egyptian law, court order, or government authority.

5. Data Retention

We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) for all data in transit, and secure storage practices for data at rest. Passwords are never stored — we use OTP-based authentication only.

No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You have the right to:

  • Correction — request correction of inaccurate or incomplete data.
  • Deletion — request deletion of your account and personal data.
